In early June I had an incredible opportunity to attend a photography workshop given by one of my favorite photographers, Michele Anderson of Pinkle Toes Photography. I had been looking forward to the workshop for a few months, and Michele did not disappoint. And boy, did this poor girl have her work cut out for her. We had three days of gloomy skies and rain…quite possible a photographer’s worst nightmare. But Michele somehow managed to put a smile on her face and master a newborn, family and maternity photo sessions even in what was probably the worst week weather-wise so far this summer. I can’t say enough good things about Michele and also the incredible woman that attended the workshop with me. I learned so much in those three days from everyone there and developed some great new photog friendships. I cannot wait to start bringing some new and exciting things to Half-Pint Photography over the course of the next few months, so stay tuned!
I could probably write a full essay on the workshop, but I’d rather let the pictures do the talking…
Be sure to check in on my friend Kim over at Kim Schmidt Photography – Central Jersey Family and Child Photographer to hear what she has to say about her workshop experience. We have a fun little workshopping blog circle so at the end of her post you can click on through to another attendee’s post and the circle just keeps going. Enjoy!
